Starbow Airlines of Ghana is expected to resume operations in July 2018, according to the deputy Aviation Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko, who said the carrier was "re-strategizing, re-organizing themselves."

The airline suspended operations in November 2017 after one of its aircraft overran the runway at Kotoka International Airport while on takeoff.

A government investigation, which concluded in February 2018, said Starbow needed to review its operational procedures and retrain its crew in order to be allowed to resume operations.

The planned fleet of Starbow was not disclosed.
