Sal, October 23rd, 2019 - Cape Verdean airline Cabo Verde Airlines has decided to postpone connections between Sal and Luanda, Angola, until the Summer 2020.
Due to commercial reasons, given the specificities of the Angolan market, Cabo Verde Airlines has decided to postpone the connections between Sal and Luanda, which was scheduled to start in December, to the IATA Summer season 2020.
This postponement will allow the proper implementation of all promotion, sale and partnership mechanisms, respecting the conditions of the Angolan market and its various intermediaries that provide services in the tourism and air transport industry.
In the meantime, the company has already begun the process of protecting passengers who had already purchased tickets for this route.
Nevertheless, Cabo Verde Airlines maintains its commitment to the Angolan market, including the codeshare agreement with the Angolan airline TAAG - Linhas Aéreas de Angola, which, since April 26th, has been flying between the Angolan capital and the island of Sal, with a stop in São Tomé e Príncipe, twice a week.
