Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) has announced that Gregory Anderson has been appointed to serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will also continue as the company's principal accounting officer, a role he has served since January, 2015.

Anderson, who joined Allegiant's accounting department in 2010, has served as the company's senior vice president, treasury since January, 2017. Prior to joining Allegiant, he worked in corporate accounting for U.S. Airways. A certified public accountant, Anderson previously worked in public accounting for the multinational professional services firm Ernst & Young. He is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Anderson's appointment became effective on April 23, 2019. Scott Sheldon, who has served as Allegiant's chief financial officer since 2010, will continue to serve in his role of executive vice president and chief operating officer.
