At AERO Friedrichshafen, French aircraft manufacturer AURA AERO and Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF), the international subsidiary of Société Générale group, announced a cooperation in the field of aircraft financing.

In order to facilitate access to the INTEGRAL family, AURA AERO’s brand new two-seater aircraft designed for pilot training, aerobatics and leisure, SGEF will offer buyers financing at attractive interest rates.  Depending on the credit rating of the buyers, terms can extend beyond the seven-year period that is customary in the light aircraft sector today.

In a context where the need for new pilots is estimated around 300.000 in the next 15 years, the need for pilot aircraft will be more important than ever, and pilot schools will benefit from this agreement for the renewal of their fleets or the purchase of new aircraft.

In parallel, aviation clubs will be able to benefit from the latest generation of eco-efficient aircraft, less fuel-consuming and therefore less CO2 emission-emitting, contributing to the decarbonization of their activities.

SGEF is a partner with exceptional experience in general aviation projects. With this collaboration, we are making it easier for pilot schools and aviation clubs to decide in favor of INTEGRAL, our new generation two-seater aircraft,” said Drew McEwen, Chief Commercial Officer of AURA AERO

The decarbonization of aviation is a challenge that all stakeholders must face. As a member of the Societé Générale Group, we take this task very seriously and recognize how important it is for our customers. We are therefore delighted to be able to make our contribution through this collaboration, in particular by financing INTEGRAL E,” said Werner Slavik, Head of Aviation, SGEF.

INTEGRAL is a family of two-seater new generation aircraft, available in 3 versions: R for aerobatics and leisure, S for pilot training, and E for the electric version.
