Beijing, China: Xiamen Airlease, registered as Xiamen Aircraft Leasing Co., an aircraft leasing company incorporated in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, is pleased to announce that it has successfully concluded a purchase and lease back agreement with China Eastern Airlines, consisting of 17 A320, 10 B737-700 and 1 B737-800 Aircraft.

Mr Duan Xiaoge, COO of Xiamen Airlease stated “This landmark deal demonstrates our strength, knowledge and capability when assessing and investing in mid-life assets. We are delighted that China Eastern Airlines has selected Xiamen Aircraft Leasing to support the airline with the gradual phase out of their mid-life aircraft. Xiamen Aircraft Leasing is the only leasing company in China dedicated to creating value for those customers who are trading in mid and end of life assets. With the completion of this transaction Xiamen Aircraft Leasing's portfolio has now increased to 52 and the Company will continue to grow through further acquisitions within China and Asia. In parallel we are also developing and investing in end of life strategies to ultimately transform the Company into full service provider. The strength of our relationships, both locally and internationally, with consumers, operators and financiers, will ensure further success for Xiamen Aircraft Leasing and our partners.
