Dublin/Dallas: 11th March 2019: WNG Capital LLC, the independently owned lessor of mid-life and older Airbus and Boeing narrow body commercial aircraft, is pleased to welcome three new experienced professionals to its team.

Gerry Aubrey has joined as Chief Operating Officer to lead WNG Capital’s lease transitions, aircraft purchase evaluations, and technical and asset management teams. He also participates on the Company’s Investment and Executive Committees.

Aubrey has managed commercial aircraft for thirty years and has held senior technical, contracts, and commercial positions at two operating lessors and a major US airline. Prior to joining WNG, he was the Senior Vice President at Intrepid Aviation, where he was responsible for airline and OEM relationships. His leadership roles have included a combined lease administration and asset management function at Pegasus Aviation, with portfolio supervision of a 200+ aircraft fleet, as well as leadership of the aircraft and engine sales team at United Airlines.

Jennifer Wallace has been hired to serve as Corporate Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at WNG Capital. She is responsible for investor-related legal and compliance functions and provides support for the Company’s aircraft lease transactions. She has a decade of experience in the legal and financial services industries and before joining WNG was Vice President, Legal Counsel at Westwood Holdings Group, Inc., a publicly traded investment and wealth management firm. Prior to Westwood, Wallace practiced law at Duane Morris LLP in its Wealth Planning Group.

Stéphane Depeyre has joined WNG’s experienced origination and marketing team as a Marketing Director mainly responsible for airline and lessor relationships in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His remit includes trading, origination, and leasing projects across this region. He has worked in aircraft trading and leasing for the past twenty years in addition to his prior experience working for airlines directly, and was most recently VP Marketing with China Aircraft Leasing Company (CALC), where he was responsible for the placement of new aircraft. Before that, Depeyre was Head of Marketing at Volito Aviation for six years and also consulted in aircraft projects management for French and Russian banks.
