Wizz Air Launches New Routes And Celebrates The Arrival Of Two Airbus Aircraft At London Luton
Wizz Air, one of Europe's fastest growing airlines and the largest low cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, is pleased to announce the launch of two new routes and the arrival of two brand new Airbus aircraft at its London Luton base.
Sunday 25 May 2018 will see the first flights take off from London Luton to two new destinations in Wizz Air’s growing UK network. Flights to the Slovakian capital Bratislava will operate daily, and flights to the Italian port city of Bari will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays until 18 April, before increasing to four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Fares for both routes start from £26.99* and can be booked at wizzair.com.
Already the sixth largest airline operating from the UK, the new Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft joining the London Luton fleet reflect Wizz Air’s continued investment into its UK operations, creating additional direct jobs with the company. Wizz Air now has three aircraft based at London Luton, with a further five to be deployed by June 2018, increasing the number of local jobs to over 300.
