As part of its 2019/2020 winter schedule, today WestJet announced a hot new reason to travel south this winter – Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Starting December 13, 2019, WestJet will operate a nonstop overnight flight between Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) (CNW Group/WESTJET, an Alberta Partnership)

Starting December 13, 2019, WestJet will operate a nonstop overnight flight between Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The weekly service will be operated on WestJet's Boeing 767 that includes the airline's updated Premium and Economy cabin service. Premium is the ideal combination of comfort, value and care including elevated meal service and signature welcome perks featuring sparkling wine and an amenity case.

In addition, the airline announced a new weekly nonstop between Victoria International Airport (YYJ) and Los Cabos Mexico International Airport (SJD) starting December 17, 2019.
