Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow (VDTM), part of Volga-Dnepr Group, has extended its MRO agreement with Aeroflot to now cover the servicing of 41 Boeing 737NG aircraft. This increases the original contract signed by the two companies in 2013, which covered MRO services for an initial 30 aircraft.

VDTM provides line maintenance services for Aeroflot’s fleet at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo international airport. Additionally, the company performs structural repair of aircraft framework and non-destructive testing, as well as line maintenance of Aeroflot’s fleet at the line MRO base in Pashkovsky airport in Krasnodar, Russia.

During the 2018 FIFA World Cup from 14 June to 15 July, VDTM will also guarantee maintenance support for Aeroflot aircraft at three further airports in Russia; Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, and Nizhny Novgorod.

Pavel Tereschenkov, General Director of Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow, said: “We continue to deliver high quality MRO services for our key account customers in Russia, including for our leading client, Aeroflot. We look forward to the further development of our effective cooperation, continuing to upgrade the quality of our services, and expanding the scope of our MRO services.”

Volga-Dnepr Technics provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for both Russian and foreign-built aircraft. This company was established in 2008 at the premises of existing and new MRO bases to ensure centralization and coordination of the Group’s maintenance operations, and to further improve service quality. In Russia, VDTM operates in three cities – Moscow (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo), in Krasnoyarsk (Emelyanovo), and in Krasnodar (Pashkovsky). All stations are certified MRO bases providing services for Boeing 747, Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and Sukhoi Superjet aircraft. New line maintenance bases in Vladivostok (Russia) and Liege (Belgium) are expected to be launched in the near future. VDTM has recently introduced interior and cargo equipment services with the intention to further improve the scope of its service portfolio. Maximum flexibility, a wide range of services, the automation of operations and an extensive network of maintenance bases continue to make Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow an attractive MRO partner for Russian and international companies.
