Viva Air Group appoints new CEO

Viva Air Group, based in Panama, and owned by Irelandia Aviation, appointed Felix Antelo as new CEO, effective 15 May 2018. Antelo was previously the president of LATAM Peru.

Viva Air Group expects to transport about 38 million passengers by 2020.

"We are delighted that Felix become part of Grupo Viva Air. His experience in Peru and Ecuador in particular, will give great weight to our management team in Colombia and the other two countries, "said chairman Declan Ryan.

The Group has 50 A320 aircraft on order -- 15 CEO and 35 NEO.
