Switzerland-based Vertis Aviation, the boutique long-range charter specialist, has added a second Boeing Business Jet to its growing portfolio of large-jets available for international charter. The latest addition to the roster, operated by Bermuda-headquartered Longtail Aviation, will be exclusively marketed to the international sector by the Vertis team.
With a maximum range of 5,500 nautical miles, and flying-times, augmented by seven PATS auxiliary fuel tanks, of up to 12 hours, the aircraft will be popular with clients seeking an executive airliner that delivers extreme comfort combined with flexible operational capabilities. The aircraft's floating base better serves the growing number of clients requiring long-range charters from the Middle East, Europe and Russia. London to Bangkok, Paris to Los Angeles, and Dubai to Tokyo city pairs are all within easy reach of the BBJ's impressive operating scope.
The privately-owned aircraft is configured to comfortably accommodate 18 passengers with regular business class seats supplemented by sectional, sumptuous, L-shaped sofas creating two separate relaxing lounge environments. A fully equipped galley, including microwave and oven, enables fine dining at altitude. The cabin also incorporates lie-flat sleeping for 11, including one state room designed for the ultimate in comfort, featuring its own queen-size double bed, shower and toilet.
To satisfy the growing requirements for efficient connectivity the cabin is outfitted with high speed WiFi to support smart-phone and laptop usage. A state-of-the-art entertainment system links to TV screens delivering box-office movies, customized content and moving map imagery. For larger groups the baggage cabin comfortably accommodates up to 35 suitcases making the aircraft ideal for multi-leg leisure trips.
Vertis partner Jeffrey Emmenis says, "We are experiencing a solid rise in demand for aircraft that can accommodate complex trips, and we're arranging an increasing number of global circumnavigations. This type of aircraft perfectly fulfils all the requirements for these very special journeys."
With long range tanks, experienced crew and high standards of comfort Emmenis anticipates the aircraft will appeal to a select clientele including government officials, heads of state, captains of industry, international celebrities and ultra-high-net worth individuals. "I am extremely pleased to be expanding our portfolio with this jet as we know many clients are fans of the BBJ models. It perfectly complements our tailored aviation services, and I know will be welcomed by our customers."
The BBJ aircraft, which is available immediately for charter, will join the existing long-range charter fleet marketed by Vertis which also includes two Airbus ACJ executive airliners, two Bombardier Global 6000 types, and a Bombardier Global Express.
