VD Gulf (a VDT subgroup company) located in Sharjah, UAE the biggest independent Middle East MRO-provider, has recently welcomed its first Boeing 777 type aircraft for base maintenance in its wide body aircraft hangar. The Boeing 777 is a new addition to the VD Gulf MRO portfolio of Boeing 747/ 737CL/NG and Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Iraqi Airways aircraft arrived at the VD Gulf hangar to undergo heavy C-check and other out o phase tasks along with ADs/SBs.. This base maintenance work on aircraft took fourteen days for the VD Gulf team..
Earlier this year, VD Gulf announced the expansion of its capabilities and approval to this model aircraft. The Boeing 777 core maintenance team made up of EASA approved engineers and specialists have several years of Boing 777 MRO experience. This product together with the other Boeing models maintained by VD Gulf makes the company an ideal place for maintaining Boeing airplanes.
