Uzbekistan Airways no longer plans to purchase aircraft from Bombardier, as the carrier only intends to operate Boeing and Airbus aircraft moving forward in order to streamline its fleet and reduce costs.

The move follows the decommissioning of Russian-made aircraft, with some being held for sale. Uzbekistan Airways now operates a fleet of B757, B767, B787-8, A320, and B767-300BCF aircraft.

Bombardier is reportedly looking to assist the the airline in purchasing aircraft, which includes preferential credit terms.
