• UTC Aerospace Systems’ global network will provide spare parts and subassembly repair services for 10-years
  • Deal will lower operating costs through a simplified supply chain and improved product performance

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 12, 2018 –UTC Aerospace Systems , a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), today announced that it has been selected by GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business, to provide an expanded on-site consignment stock support solution at their Schiphol-based facilities over the course of the next decade. The support agreement will help Fokker streamline supply chain operations, increase repair reliability and lower operational cost.

Under the 10-year agreement, UTC Aerospace Systems’ global network will manage the supply chain of UTC electric power systems (EPS) parts, in addition to providing 24/7 technical on-site support (OSS). Transitioning supply chain operations allows GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business to focus on core business functions, such as the overhaul and repair of Integrated Drive Generators and power generating related availability services.
