Utair plans to lease two B737 MAX 8s, following a reported LOI with Air Lease Corporation in early 2018.

The airline plans to begin its fleet renewal process in 2019, taking four to five aircraft per year through 2025. Although the aircraft selection has not been finalized, Utair plans to replace its B737-500 fleet with B737 MAX 7s and -8s.

S7 Airlines is also expecting to lease nine B737 MAX aircraft from Air Lease, with delivery scheduled from September 2018.
