Unical Aviation Inc., a leading provider of aircraft parts and components to the global commercial aerospace market, announces the appointment of former AJW Group exec, Ian Malin, to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer.

Reporting directly to CEO, Sharon Green, Mr. Malin will develop and execute the Unical commercial growth strategy including oversight of M&A, commercial and leasing activity.

Most recently, Mr. Malin served as a Chief Financial Officer for a global aviation spare parts solutions provider where he directed overall financial strategy and corporate development.   He previously served as Vice President with Seabury Aviation & Aerospace Asia Limited, based in Hong Kong as well as Vice President with the Allco Finance Group, having joined them from KPMG.

Mr. Malin earned his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and a and holds a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College.
