February 15, 2022: Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) continues to operate flights according to the current schedule. The airline managed to work out a compromise position in the process of negotiations with insurance companies and with the consent of lessors. Due to a number of factors, including the revision of insurance rates and the low season, UIA has decided to temporarily reduce the number of aircraft to 13. Two more aircraft were sent to Spain for safekeeping. This number of aircraft will optimize the fleet and continue to operate flights according to the current schedule.

"One of the key roles in the negotiations with the partners was played by the position of the State. UIA aircraft will continue to operate internationally and domestically,” said Yevhenii Dykhne, CEO of the airline.

The airline will continue to report any changes. We recommend that you closely follow the airline's news on the official website, as well as the flight schedule.

UIA thanks its partners, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the State Aviation Service, Boryspil Airport, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the relevant committees of the Parliament of Ukraine and others for their understanding and willingness to cooperate.
