October 1, 2020: Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is forced to suspend the start of flights to Baku. The resumption of flights has been postponed until the end of October due to restrictions on entry into Azerbaijan due to the extension of quarantine measures. The Government of Azerbaijan announced this information on September 30, 2020 by issuing NOTAM (a document announcing a change in procedures, the establishment of a ban / restriction on the use of airspace or the operation of airfields and other events).

In the future, UIA will closely monitor the epidemiological situation in the country, as well as the events in Nagorno-Karabakh, so as not to lose the opportunity to resume flights, if the required level of flight safety.
