UIA keeps axing flight program
To bring the business back to the profit zone, Ukraine International keeps optimizing its east- and westbound route network.
Effective January 14, 2020, the leading Ukraine’s carrier will cease operating flights between Kyiv and Krakow.
Moreover, substantial changes will be introduced on Kyiv – Bangkok – Kyiv flights. On November 16, 2020, the frequency will be brought down to 3 weekly flights. Effective March 29, 2020, and during IATA Summer Season, non-stop services connecting the capitals of Ukraine and Thailand will be put on hold.
UIA will offer passengers either rerouting options (where possible) or ticket (or unused carriage) refunds in case rerouting is impossible or an alternative does not suit a passenger.
To ensure fast and efficient request processing, passengers should contact the airline as soon as they receive information on their flight status changes. Ticket (or unused carriage) refunds are made in payment currency by travel agents.
