Tunisia's Jasmin Airways readies to launch operations

Jasmin Airways, based at the Monastir Habib Bourguiba Airport, plans to commence operations on 10 June 2019, flying its first flight to Sarajevo. The carrier will operate the route with one leased E170, seating 76 passengers.

The carrier plans to extend the service until the winter 2019/20 season, depending on demand. It also aims to increase its fleet with the addition of two new aircraft each year.

The new airline is headed by Mehdi Gharbi as CEO, and Ali Ben Amara as President.

The aircraft, serial 17000170, is leased from EgyptAir Express.
