Germany's Intro Aviation, in partnership with US investment fund Crestline, to present their Corsair takeover plan this week to the French airline's parent TUI Group, as the shareholders of China's Loong Air recently gave up on the acquisition of the French airline.

Should the deal fail, TUI will continue to hold on to the airline, while still keeping the door open for a sale.

Meanwhile, TUI announced to will replace two of its three B747s phasing out in 2020-21 with three A330-900neo. Talks with manufacturers and lessors are in progress regarding the exact timetable.
