Turbine Services and Solutions (TS&S), a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider for gas turbines and driven equipment, is expanding its network of international customers. The Abu Dhabi-based business, wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), has announced engine maintenance contracts with three major international airlines: Atlasglobal, Yemen Airways and Asiana, on the sidelines of Farnborough International Airshow 2018. The partnership agreements signify TS&S’ collaboration with fast-growing carriers in South East Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Commenting on the announcement, Mansoor Janahi, Acting Chief Executive Officer at TS&S, said: “Rapid advances in technology and a strong forecasted growth in air travel are bringing business prospects to the forefront. The expansion of our global footprint underscores our priority in identifying these diverse opportunities as we direct our expertise and resources to focus on strategic, emerging and promising aviation markets. In line with our long-term growth strategy, TS&S is pursuing opportunities that will expand its presence across several continents.

“It is a great honor to be selected to work alongside some of the fastest growing airlines in the world,” Janahi continued. “These agreements are a testament to the industry-leading capabilities of TS&S’ innovative MRO solutions and strong track record of timely deliveries. Together with our partners, TS&S continues to enhance its offerings and create value for its clients, tailoring solutions to meet their dynamic needs,” he added.

In addition to its MRO services, TS&S acts independently as a third-party market supplier, as well as a sub-contractor, to IAE’s global original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers. Through the support of nearly 300 specialists of 30 different nationalities, TS&S has inducted over 175 V2500 engines since 2014.
