Transavia plans to operate B737 MAX aircraft by 2021, with a decision due soon, according to CEO Matthijs ten Brink.

The airline currently operates the B737-700 and B737-800, with the oldest aircraft to be replaced by the MAX. Transavia sees the MAX as a better alternative than buying more used B737-800s due to the fuel efficiency of the new model.
