Thomas Cook Airlines has today announced that from May, Brits will be able to holiday on the beautiful Dubrovnik coast as it introduces flight-only options to its summer 2018 programme. On sale tomorrow (Wednesday 30th), flights to Dubrovnik will operate on a Sunday and Wednesday from Manchester.

Often referred to as the Pearl of the Adriatic, the medieval city of Dubrovnik itself is not to be missed. Its pedestrianised Old Town is hugely popular and hosts a number of cultural and music festivals throughout the summer. Visitors can take in some of the best views of the city and coastline by walking along the ancient city walls. For the Game of Thrones fans, there is even a dedicated tour to explore the many scenes and hear behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of the TV series.

Today's announcement is coupled with the news that Thomas Cook is increasing its capacity into Split for summer 2018 with the introduction of two Thomas Cook Airlines' flights from London Gatwick and an additional flight from Manchester.

Christoph Debus, Chief Airlines Officer at Thomas Cook Airlines added: "The short flight time to Croatia makes it the perfect destination for both a long weekend break as well as a main summer holiday. Our new flights into Dubrovnik mean customers will now be able to explore a new area of this beautiful country, as well as travel from more UK airports with the introduction of flights to Split from London Gatwick and an additional one from Manchester."

Flights start from £59.99 one way per person and can be booked online at https://www.thomascookairlines.com/.
