Syphax Airlines is preparing to resume operations, after being placed into administration in August 2015. The carrier is currently implementing it turnaround plan.

Founder of the Tunisian airline, Mohamed Frikha, entered into a partnership agreement Spain's Air Nostrum, who will operate CRJ-900s on behalf of Syphax Airlines, effective 08 May 2018.

The official relaunch date was not disclosed.

Syphax also began training for the resumption of operations, and is in the process of compensating passengers affected by its cessation in 2015.
