Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS)1 transported 1,143,765 passengers in February 2018, a 0.8% increase on the same month last year. The higher passenger volume was achieved even though the 10,009 flights operated for the month represented a 2.6% decline.

Systemwide passenger capacity for February, measured in available seat-kilometres (ASK), was 2.9% up on the prior-year period. Total traffic volume, measured in revenue passenger-kilometres (RPK), rose 2.2%. Systemwide seat load factor for the month declined accordingly, slipping 0.5 percentage points to 76.1%.
