Hong Kong, 28 August 2018 With effect from 27 October 2018, HK Express will suspend flight services between Hong Kong and Hualien to better optimise utilisation of the airline’s resources. Flights between Hong Kong and Hualien departing from now until 26 October 2018 will operate as normal.
All affected passengers will be given the following three options for their consideration:
i. Change of Travel Schedule - Select a new date travelling to / from Hualien on or before 26 October 2018 (fare difference will be waived; booking is subject to seat availability); OR
ii. Change of Destination - Select a new destination of the HK Express network departing on or before 30 April 2019 (fare difference applies except travelling to Taichung during non-specific peak periods; booking is subject to seat availability); OR
iii. Full Fare Refund
For options (i) and (ii), only one-time change can be made free of charge. Further changes are subject to applicable fees according to the fare rules and conditions of the fare purchased.
HK Express is now notifying all affected guests via email and SMS. Guests may choose one of these three options and should reply to us within 2 weeks upon receiving the official notification, otherwise the option of the full fare refund for all affected flight sectors would be defaulted. To make the change arrangement or learn more about the specific peak period details, please reach us via Facebook Messenger, or approach our Call Centre at (852) 3902 0288 or via email guest.relations@hkexpress.com.
HK Express deeply apologises for the inconvenience caused.
