Stratos delivers 737-800 to Transavia France
Monaco, 21st March 2023 | Stratos, a leading aircraft investment specialist and asset manager, today announces the delivery of a Boeing 737-800 on long term operating lease to Transavia France.
The delivery forms part of Transavia France’s fleet expansion, which will see the Air France – KLM subsidiary grow its fleet, taking it to 71 aircraft.
The aircraft (MSN 37253), which forms part of a portfolio managed on behalf of a UK-based fund manager, has just been redelivered from TUI (UK) and will undergo various post-delivery cabin and avionic modification works, including some Transavia-specific customization.
This delivery follows Stratos’ recent delivery of two 737-800 aircraft purchased from Japan Airlines and transitioned to a leading European airline conglomerate as well as the delivery of the first of two IAE powered A320s to a European carrier on behalf of a Middle Eastern investor. Over the past 12 months, Stratos has remarketed 20 aircraft to 11 airlines/investors and sourced a further 8 aircraft (includes both delivered and committed).
Camille Pousseur, Marketing Director of Stratos said: “We are delighted to have partnered with Transavia and to have delivered this aircraft to them. Our teams have worked very hard to achieve this outcome and we look forward to a long and successful relationship.”
Yves Le Berre, Fleet Director of Transavia France said: “We are very pleased to welcome this new aircraft which strengthens our fleet and complements our growth trajectory.”
