Bavarian Airlines plans to launch operations out of Munich by the end of 2023,  partially competing with Lufthansa.

The company is already in initial talks Munich airport as it awaits its AOC.

The destinations of the new airline are to be in Germany and Europe, beginning with domestic flights to Berlin, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. Connections to Vienna, Amsterdam, Geneva and London are expected to follow.

Bavarian Airlines wants to takeoff with 12 E195-E2 aircraft at the end of 2023 – all on lease.

Founder Adem Karagöz aims to target business passengers with the aircraft.
