StarLux plans to operate 14 A320neos and 10 widebodies
StarLux Airlines, set up by Chang Kuo-wei, to apply by end of March 2018 for a business license in Taiwan, with an AOC application to follow.
The startup is hoping to start commercial services in 2020, with routes to Southeast and Northeast Asia and later to the US.
StarLux will operate a fleet of 14 new A320neos and 10 widebodies on lease during its first six years.
The carrier aims to firm the contract for A320neo leases in 1H 2018.
