Safran Nacelles has been selected by SriLankan Airlines for two long term agreements to provide asset management and unscheduled cover of the nacelles that equip the airline’s Airbus A330ceo jetliner fleet powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines and Airbus A320/A321neo jetliner fleet powered by CFM* LEAP-1A engines.
For the A330ceo nacelles, SriLankan Airlines will have access to the pool of the thrust reversers, manufactured by Safran Nacelles, and unscheduled cover repair services of the entire nacelle.
For the other agreement, dedicated to support the SriLankan Airlines’s A320/A321neo nacelle fleet – manufactured by Safran Nacelles, the operator will have access to the pool of the air inlet and unscheduled cover repair services of the entire nacelle.
Both NacelleLifeTM services will be delivered from Dubai to make the Sri Lankan operator benefits from composites and structures repairs center of excellence of Aerostructures Middle East Services (AMES), based in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) along with OEM** guaranteed Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions.
AMES is a joint-venture MRO of Safran Nacelles and AFI KLM E&M, performing overhaul & services of structural equipment covering the region of Middle East, Gulf Arab states eastern Africa and Indian peninsula.

During the MRO Middle East show, Safran Nacelles will be present at the AMES booth 1340, from 11 to 12 February, at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
