Paris, Hamburg, Atlanta, GA, 12 April, 2019 - Spairliners GmbH announced this week that they have entered into a long term agreement with Barfield, a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) in the Americas, to provide component repairs to support Spairliners Embraer E-Jet fleet. The agreement, effective immediately, comprises in-house repair services of Line Replaceable Units currently performed by Spairliners' MRO shareholders AFI KLM E&M as well as Lufthansa Technik. Barfield will serve as the newest addition to Spairliners MRO portfolio and thereby further solidifying their capabilities and presence in the Americas.

Barfield offers competitive in-house capabilities and shorter repair turn-around-times for Spairliners as they are strategically situated in the Americas. The components will be repaired and overhauled at their local repair facilities, specifically Atlanta, GA and Miami, FL.
