Somon Air of Tajikistan recently held talks with Embraer, where the parties discussed the purchase of eight E190-E2 for domestic and regional flights.

In addition, the two partied discussed issues of financing of the purchase through the Export-Credit Bank of Brazil, BNDES, under the scheme of financial leasing.

The E2s are expected to replace B737-300s.
