SMBC Aero Engine Lease B.V. appointed Mr. Roger Welaratne as Chief Commercial Officer.  Mr. Welaratne will be responsible for airline marketing and aircraft engine trading activities as well as the execution of those leasing and trading transactions.

Mr. Welaratne most recently served in the position of SVP Commercial of GECAS Engines.
