Skywork to add to more Saab 2000s as E170 is delayed
Skywork to expand its fleet with two more Saab 2000s very soon, with one delivering ahead of the summer schedule beginning 25 March 2018. The two additions will increase its Saab 2000 fleet to six, once the second delivers in the coming weeks.
The carrier, which recently phased out its last of five DO328s, plans to acquire an E170 as it refocuses its future fleet on jet aircraft. The arrival of the E170 was expected by the start of the summer season, but the delivery has been delayed for undisclosed reasons.
The two additional Saab 2000s will cover the summer 2018 season as part of "Plan B", with no impact on customers expected.
