Chilean airline Sky Airline and Argentine airline FlyBondi are both mulling an entry into the Paraguayan market.

The two airlines are lobby for certification to begin operating in Paraguay, from Asunsion's Silvio Pettirossi Airport, however they are hoping to granted an economic "grace period" during initial operations.

Sky Airline is still in the analysis stage, confirmed commercial director, Carmen Gloria Serrat.

Other airlines, including American Jet, Southern Wings Air and Viva Air Peru, are also reported to be interested in Paraguay.
