“We are thrilled to add Branson, Missouri as Silver’s newest destination,” said Jason Bewley, Silver’s President and CFO. “Our new fleet of eco-friendly ATR-600s will provide a superior guest experience on flights from New Orleans, Houston, and Chicago. These new nonstop routes, combined with interline connectivity to major cities across the U.S., will stimulate air travel in the region and make Branson accessible nationwide.”

“The service between Branson and Houston has been a godsend to me and beats the heck out of a 10½- hour drive,” said country music legend Mickey Gilley. “The service at the Branson Airport is top notch and I am so happy to hear this route is returning to our awesome Branson Airport with Silver Airways.”

“We are excited to see yet another option for our millions of visitors to travel to Branson,” said Jeff Seifried, President/Chief Executive Officer of the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau. “As we continue to grow the economy in Branson, strong air service options only build on our momentum. The business community understands the high economic impact of delivering multiple air service options to our guests. Welcome to Branson, Silver Airways.”

“We have flown into the Branson Airport and the Branson JetCenter on multiple occasions to play in the PGA TOUR Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge event,” said PGA Tour Champions Member Scott McCarron. “The hospitality and kindness shown by the staff there has always exceeded our expectations. We will continue to use the Branson Airport as they continue to provide convenient travel options into this rapidly growing golf destination.”

“With respect to the ongoing golf development at Big Cedar Lodge and the opening of Ozarks National golf course designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw this fall, people around the country are already planning travel to this destination, myself included,” said Golf Channel Travel Insider Matt Ginella. “Now having access on Silver Airways, connecting to most major U.S. cities, golf and leisure travel to the Ozark Mountain Region will be more convenient than ever before.”

The Branson routes will be operated with Silver’s brand new fleet of eco-friendly ATR-600 aircraft. Silver is proud to be the North American launch customer for the all new, state-of-the-art ATR-600, which will be introduced into service later this year. The new ATR-600 provides a refined guest experience with rich leather seating, more leg room, and spacious overhead bins that accommodate full-size, carry-on roller bags. Today’s ATRs embody the most advanced aircraft technology available with the latest avionics and all-glass cockpit that ensures safe, reliable flights that are quieter and more comfortable for passengers.
