SilkWay West Airlines Pursues A Strategic Cooperation With JAL Cargo
Both carriers have agreed to start a cooperation regarding to Cargo service which does include the use of SWW Capacities by JAL.
As JAL has stopped their own full freighter operation the use of SWW capacities on scheduled routes out of Europe via Baku into Japan and vice versa will create an interesting option for both carriers.
As Silkway West Airlines is poised to increase their weekly connections out of their global Hub in Baku from 3 to 4 weekly operations the cooperation does create a win-win situation for both partner.
At the same time SWW will boost its weekly operation between Baku and Europe in order to offer sequenced in connection to/from Japan via Baku.

Silkway West Airlines Vice President for APAC Mr. Nurid Aliyev is been further quoted: “This cooperation is not the first one we do pursue in this format as we do already successfully cooperate with Malaysian Airlines Cargo after they have stopped their full freighter activities. As our global Hub is perfectly located along the ancient Silk Route our geographical position is at the crossroad between The Orient and The Occident and thus very much favors such cooperation’s”.
