SGI Aviation has concluded the delivery of one ex-Garuda Indonesia Boeing 777-300ER on behalf of her American client to Philippine Airlines on a long term lease.
The company was appointed as exclusive remarketing agent in respect of the remarketing for the Boeing 777-300ER bearing MSN 29146. It will be registered and fly under her new registration RP-C7783.
Paolo Lironi, Chief Executive Officer of SGI Aviation, calls the deal "an amazing result for all stakeholders involved as it was again a very complex project was led by Ted van Zundert our SVP Remarketing and his team" and above all "a fantastic opportunity for Philippine Airlines to deploy extra lift in these challenging times full of supply chain hurdles, for their customers on their growing international network”.
Ted van Zundert adds: "This was the first aircraft delivered to PAL by SGI on behalf of our American client, it will be followed by her sistership MSN 29147 in the near future, both sisterships will be added to our managed portfolio as they have been placed on a long term lease, it has also been a great opportunity to showcase SGI Aviation’s best-in-class remarketing, specially on wide body aircraft, and asset management services, as we tirelessly work to protect and maximise investor and client value.
VP Technical Robbert Coller added that it was a challenging delivery due too many hurdles in the supply chain but added that the MRO combined with SGI team and the team of Philippine Airlines delivered on time and in budget.

SGI Aviation manages around 60 aircraft for her clients ranging from private jets and ATR aircraft up to 747’s and A380’s. In the last twelve months amongst other successes SGI Aviation sold a CFM56-7B sold three Boeing 777-300ER put another Boeing 777-300ER on lease and sold an Airbus A330-300 on behalf of various clients.
