At a signing ceremony at the Singapore Air Show today, Satair and UTC Aerospace Systems celebrated a recent long-term distribution contract for primary and secondary flight controls for the Airbus A300, A300-600 and A310. The 10-year contract covers worldwide distribution of spares and line-replaceable units (LRUs).

UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products, and through its Actuation Systems business manufactures flight controls for a number of commercial and military fixed wing and rotorcraft platforms around the globe. Today’s agreement is one of several between UTC Aerospace Systems and Satair, and builds on the longstanding relationship between the two companies.

At the signing ceremony event today, Bart Reijnen, CEO of Satair stated: “This agreement is a strong addition to our strategy of being a global integrator to the commercial aerospace world. We want to make it easy for our customers and are pleased to work with UTC Aerospace Systems to make this happen.”
