Nairobi, 19-June-2023 – SafeAir (SAQ), a leading regional aviation company, is pleased to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the delivery of two Boeing 777-200 aircraft on a 36-month operating lease basis. The first unit is set to enter service in November 2023, the second is scheduled for delivery in early December 2023. Both aircraft are believed to have been previously operated by JAL and will be utilized within the ACMI and Charter markets.
SafeAir's decision to acquire these B777-200 aircraft represents a strategic move to expand its fleet and cater to growing regional demands. By incorporating these aircraft into its operations, SafeAir aims to enhance its capabilities in meeting the diverse needs of its clients.
The deal, successfully brokered by Air Charter Service (ACS), a renowned aviation brokerage firm, demonstrates SafeAir's commitment to collaborating with industry leaders to achieve its goals. However, ACS has respectfully declined to comment on the specifics of the agreement.
