As part of its geographic expansion strategy, S7 Technics has entered the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service market at St Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport, one of Russia’s largest aviation hubs.
S7 Technics’ new line maintenance station at Pulkovo, which is within walking distance of the aircraft stands, offers an annual capacity of a minimum of 12,000 man-hours.
It is licensed for maintenance and repairs of Airbus А320 family, A320neo, Boeing 737NG and Embraer E170 aircraft and, depending on the needs of customers, its capability list will be expanded.
“The launch of a line station at Sheremetyevo and at Pulkovo, are all stages of the systematic development of our own line maintenance station network within Russia. We are now satisfying the line maintenance needs of several airlines with efficient and quality services at seven of the largest airports across Russia,” comments Vladislav Kotenko, director for line stations management at S7 Technics.
Beyond the Sheremetyevo (IATA: SVO) and Pulkovo (LED) stations, S7 Technics also provides line maintenance services at Moscow’s Domodedovo (DME), Novosibirsk’s Tolmachevo (OVB), Vladivostok (VVO), Irkutsk (IKT) and Yakutsk (YKS) airports.
