Olbia, October 3rd, 2018 - Air Italy is pleased to announce that Rossen Dimitrov, who joined Air Italy’s top executive team as Chief Customer Experience Officer in April, today has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the airline with immediate effect.

This follows the departure of the Chief Operating Officer Neil Mills, who left the Company due to personal reasons. The Board of Directors unanimously expressed their thanks to Mr. Mills for his commitment in leading the company through the first operative phase of the new business project.

Mr. Dimitrov will have the role of coordinating and directing all the functions of the company under the guidance of the Board, while still maintaining the direct responsibility for the customer experience.

Air Italy Deputy Chairman Marco Rigotti said: “I will be very pleased to fully support Rossen in this new role. Thanks to his proven experience in leading large teams across a variety of disciplines, he will manage a renewed organization, focused on the ambitious goals that the company aims to achieve while entering into a more mature phase of this project. Rossen has already shown during his tenure his proven ability in driving change inside the organization. His new appointment shows also how determined Air Italy is in making customer experience as a key priority for the ongoing growth and development.”

There are no changes in the responsibilities of the current Accountable manager of the Airline.
