Following a busy 2021, in which AMS, the aircraft marketing and technical management arm of EastMerchant Capital Group, acquired a total of twenty-one aircraft for its clients, the company has appointed industry veteran Clive Richardson to lead its burgeoning engine procurement and management division.

With a career spanning over forty years, Richardson began as an apprentice at BEOL (British Airways) before joining GEAE, where he served for over twenty years, first as CFM Material Manager then as an Engine Component Repair Sales Director. Thereafter, Clive relocated to Abu Dhabi with GAMCO/ADAT where he focused on business development and sales, before returning to the UK. Clive holds an MBA and a mechanical and manufacturing engineering degree and is a certified Six Sigma/Lean graduate.

Commenting on Richardson’s appointment, AMS Chief Executive, Mike Skinner, said “we are delighted to welcome Clive to the team. His extensive expertise in engine acquisitions and management will be invaluable to our clients whilst simultaneously expanding AMS’ expertise in this area.”
