REN Legal further enhances its Aviation Finance and Leasing capability with second senior appointment
London, UK (June 20th, 2018) - REN Legal announced today that Guy Espitalier-Noel has joined the firm as Of Counsel, further increasing the strength and depth of the firm’s core asset finance team. Guy’s arrival follows the recent appointment by REN of Sulagna Roy to Of Counsel.
Guy Espitalier-Noel joins from Stephenson Harwood, having previously worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer after qualifying at Slaughter and May. Guy acts for industry leading aviation finance banks, lessors and operators on complex cross-border aviation finance and leasing transactions including operating lease financings (including subordinated debt and Shariah-compliant financings), finance leases, sale and leaseback transactions, aircraft and engine purchases and disposals and PDP financings.
Guy was recognised as a rising star by leading industry publication, Airfinance Journal, in their 2016 Guide to Aviation Lawyers, and was lead counsel for the operator on Airfinance Journal’s Operating Lease Deal of the Year 2017.
