Red Wings, which is owned by Ilyushin Finance Company (IFC), signed a deal to lease six CS300 from State Transport Leasing Company (STLC), with delivery scheduled for 2019.
The aircraft will fit well into the route network shared with its alliance partner, Nordavia, according to a representative from Red Wings.
The six aircraft were ceded from IFC to STLC. IFC had a total of 20 CS300s on order.
Red Wings currently operates six TU204 and seven A320s, which the will be increased to 12 in summer 2018. Partner Nordavia operates nine B737-500s, which will be retired in 2020. Nordavia plans to receive its first B737NG later in 2018.
