Privilege Style to replace B757s with A320 family aircraft

Privilege Style , a Spanish charter operator, plans to retire its two B757s and replace them with Airbus narrowbody aircraft, according to president and founder, Chema Alvarez.

The airline was previously looking at the B737-800 for the replacement of the B757s, but due to ongoing B737 MAX issues affecting availability of aircraft worldwide, Privilege Style opted for Airbus aircraft.

Privilege Style will acquire two A321s, beginning with serial 3636 in November 2020. The aircraft was originally delivered to Qatar Airways, is powered by IAE V2533-A5 engines and seats 214 passengers, plus has ETOPS 120.

The carrier will continue to negotiate for a second A321 and then began searching for two A320s thereafter, however availability of used aircraft is still an issue.
