Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), announced today that the Pratt & Whitney Turkish Engine Center has signed one of its largest maintenance contracts in recent history. Turkish Airlines has selected the engine center, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and Turkish Technic, for up to a five-year EngineWise™ service agreement covering 100 percent of the airline's V2500® and CFM56 -7b engine overhaul requirements.

The Pratt & Whitney Turkish Engine Center started operations in 2010 and draws on decades of maintenance experience from both Pratt & Whitney and Turkish Airlines. The engine center is equipped with high-tech, innovative flow lines and the latest machinery to overhaul engines to the industry's highest standards. Demonstrating a high level of quality and safety, the engine center has delivered over 600 engines since 2010.
