Russian airline Pobeda, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflot, has agreed with Boeing for the order of 15 B737 MAX 8 aircraft, with delivery from autumn 2019.
Pobeda currently operates 20 B737 NG aircraft, with ten more due in mid 2019. Some of the additions will be via sale/leaseback transactions with Sberbank Leasing.
According to the carrier's development strategy, by 2020, its fleet should consist of 45 aircraft.
