Dublin, Ireland, November 2, 2022 -- PIMCO, one of the world’s premier fixed income investment managers, has reached an agreement with the former senior executives at GECAS, PK AirFinance and DVB to create High Ridge Aviation — an aviation asset manager in the commercial aviation industry principally focused on arranging and structuring competitive financing and liquidity solutions to commercial airline operators globally. Additionally, LR AirFinance — a subsidiary of High Ridge Aviation — will originate and manage secured aviation loans to support the needs of airlines, lessors, and manufacturers across the globe.

Greg Conlon, the former head of GECAS, is the CEO of High Ridge Aviation and is joined by industry veterans with deep, specialized experience in aviation finance. Having previously worked together principally at GECAS and PK AirFinance, each member of the High Ridge Aviation leadership and management team is among the most respected professionals in the industry.

I am exceptionally honored to be leading this select team and delighted to partner with a premier institutional investor such as PIMCO in this strategic relationship,” said Mr. Conlon. “Our founding principals have a proven track record of success, and we are eager to again deliver unparalleled, innovative and client-focused results.”
Aircraft remain an attractive asset class in a critical infrastructure sector supported by solid long-term growth drivers,” said Dan Ivascyn, PIMCO’s Group Chief Investment Officer. “We have a longstanding investment strategy in aviation finance and our partnership with High Ridge Aviation will help provide essential liquidity and financing solutions.”

High Ridge Aviation’s global reach together with PIMCO’s deep and broad investor base will offer a wide range of competitive, tailored liquidity solutions to meet the needs of a diverse set of airlines, lessors, manufacturers and industry partners worldwide over many years.
